Tyler DiMaio is an experienced criminal defense lawyer who focuses his law practice on criminal cases involving allegations of white collar crime, domestic violence, DUI, juvenile offenses, narcotics offenses, sexual offenses, crimes of violence, and federal offenses.
Mr. DiMaio began his legal career at the Office of the Public Defender in West Palm Beach, Florida. He started in the appellate division, where he drafted briefs for post-conviction relief. He then worked in both the misdemeanor and felony trial divisions. Mr. DiMaio has handled thousands of cases and has more than a 90% success rate at trial.
He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. DiMaio graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Criminology and Law. He attended the University of Mississippi School of Law (Ole Miss) in Oxford, Mississippi, where he graduated Cum Laude with a certificate of concentration in criminal law.
Prior to his law career, Mr. DiMaio was a member of the United States Coast Guard. During his service, he was involved in search and rescue missions, federal law enforcement, homeland security, counter-terrorism intelligence, and international drug and human trafficking interdiction. With a top security clearance and specialized training, Mr. DiMaio worked with other branches of the Armed Forces in joint operations, both foreign and domestic. He was acknowledged for his service with numerous medals and ribbons, including the Service Medal for Global War on Terror, Medal for Good Conduct, Ribbon for extended sea service, Ribbon for National Defense, and a Special Ops Ribbon.
