Michelle R. Suskauer represents individuals in all criminal matters in both state and federal court and has been practicing since 1991. She is one of the most experienced, dedicated, and compassionate criminal trial lawyers in Florida. She is highly regarded by judges, prosecutors, law enforcement and her peers and is known for her creative solutions to complicated problems. She is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by numerous industry publications, including Florida Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” and “500 Most Influential Business Leaders”, a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers Magazine, the Daily Business Review, and Palm Beach Illustrated.
Michelle is truly dedicated to serving her community and her profession and has been involved in the leadership of numerous local and state legal organizations. She served as president of the Florida Bar, the third largest unified bar in the country with over 100,000 attorneys. She was an elected member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors for the 15th Judicial Circuit from 2010-2017. Michelle is a past president of both the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Palm Beach County Chapter. She has served as president of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County since 2017.
Professionally, Suskauer is a nationally known legal analyst. She has made hundreds of television appearances, including “CBS Evening News”, “The O’Reilly Factor,” “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “NBC Nightly News,” “Hannity & Colmes,” “Nancy Grace,” “Anderson Cooper 360” and “CBS Mornings.” Suskauer is the legal analyst for Palm Beach County’s NBC affiliate, WPTV NewsChannel 5; Palm Beach County Fox affiliate, WFLX 29; and radio stations 1290 WJNO and 850 WFTL.
Prior to joining DKR in 2018, Michelle worked as an assistant public defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit and later founded The Suskauer Law Firm with her husband, Scott Suskauer.
