United Development Funding I, III, IV & V
United Development Funding (UDF) is currently under investigation by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) following allegations of illegal Ponzi scheme-type activity. The SEC’s investigation began April 2014. UDF is a real estate investment trust that was supposed to help investors diversify their portfolios through a variety of investments in residential real estate.
As a result of the Ponzi allegations, prices of UDF IV shares have fallen drastically and other investigations are already underway.
