Capital Analysts Incorporated was founded in 1968 as one of the country’s first independent broker/dealers. Capital Analysts’ goal from its founding was to be client driven and perform needs-based financial planning. The company claims to have used asset allocation as a cornerstone of its financial planning process as far back as 1969, although such a strategy did not gain wide industry acceptance until the 1980s.
